Lionel Messi is a professional soccer player who is widely considered one of the greatest players of all time. He was born in Rosario, Argentina, and began playing soccer at a young age. Messi has also played for the Argentine national team and has won numerous individual awards, including the Ballon d’Or, which is given to the best soccer player in the world.
